Abigale Lee Miller bio
Abigale Lee Miller(born on 21st September, 1965) is an American dance instructor, choreographer and a reality television star. She was the creator of the Abby Lee Dance Company, that was a part of the reality show Dance Moms for eight seasons. On June 27, 2016, Miller pleaded guilty to criminal bankruptcy fraud. Miller was sentenced for one and two-and-a-half years in federal prison and released on the 27th of March 2018. She was diagnosed with lymphoma in April 2018. It is a form of cancer that renders you unable walk. She uses a wheelchair for mobility. Miller was born in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. She was a dancer who learned from her mother at Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio. Miller was 14 when she was tasked with choreography and the coaching of one of her mother’s dance competition teams. Miller was given the reins of the studio and changed its name to Reign Dance Productions in 1995. Miller was certified by Dance Masters of America, and was a part of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania Chapter 10 (February 1986). However, DMA terminated her membership in February 2012, citing that Miller's reality TV show Dance Moms was a "complete misconception of the teachers we have and their students" and was harmful to the profession.
